Insight in availibility
Post-@ Communicator indicates who is present in your organisation, where they are and whether they are reachable (on PC or phone). The reachability is determined by the activity on the employee's PC or phone and the optional "don't disturb" status. At your convenience, you may receive a message as soon as someone has become available again.
In control of communication
Post-@ Communicator is a closed IM system (with a proprietary server for your organisation). It is up to you to determine who has access and what contacts are available. Private abuse is impossible. All messages may be stored for reasons of compliance and security.
Ease of use
Post-@ has the easiest thinkable user interface: it is automatic. After starting the PC there is nothing extra to do. Everyone has their contacts readily available. Status is transmitted automatically, there is no need to set it manually.
With a click you send an IM message or SMS or make a phone call . Your most important colleagues ar permanently in sight on the desktop or browser toolbar.
Security
Home workers, mobile workers and external colleagues are connected just as easily, even without VPN. Secure login and encryption guarantee the safety of your data and network. No unsollicited messages, abuse or viruses, as on MSN or other public IM services.
Reliability
Post-@ ensures communication even when email is down. When your Exchange server, Active Directory, database or even your Windows network fails: Post-@ will still be available. Post-@ is ready to integrate with LDAP directories, phone exchanges (TAPI) and other systems (XML-RPC, SOAP). But it also makes a perfect stand alone system. All you need are PC's and a TCP-IP connection.
