Putting through with 100% success
If you have a problem in reaching people on the phone in your organisation, then the Post-@ Presence Lampfield is the solution.
With people working across several floors and departments, in cubicles, at home and remotely, finding people and putting through incoming phone calls is a problem. Very often, a calls are put through to someone who doesn't pick up because he is not at his desk. A lot of time is lost this in finding the right people. Systems that rely on people to indicate their own presence are not reliable, because they don't indicate the status properly, especially when people leave their desk for just a minute.
Therefore, it is unclear who is reachable and who is not.
The automatic Post-@ Presence Lampfield solves this problem. The receptionist or operator has a simple and complete overview of everyone: where they are, whether they are reachable on their PC or on the phone. All this without anything special to do for the people involved.
Who is where?
Icons and text indicate if someone is in or out, on which location he is whether he is busy or not, on the phone, not to be disturbed, on holiday, etcetera. Internal or external phone numbers and mobile numbers are at hand.
Availability of a person is determined by measuring the activity on the PC or handset and by the "don't disturb" status. A map of the office indicates at what desk the person is working. The phone numer is adapted automatically when logging on to another workstation. For blue collar workers, an in/out status is available, as well as their internal and mobile phone number.
Messaging while on the phone
Reception desk is able to send IM or SMS messages with one click, before or after putting through. The message will pop up immediately on the screen of the employee. Depending on the configuration, employees are able to respond to instant messages from reception and use presence indication an IM between colleagues.
When integrated with your phone or VoIP exchange, the phone busy state is dieplayed in the Post-@ system, setting up a phone call with a simple click.
The Presence Lampfield is an ideal addition to the "Busy Lampfield" of your phone exchange. It adds indication of presence of employees at their desk.
Internal and external
The system is compeletly secure to use over internet. Other offices, home workers, mobile workers and external colleagues may be connected without the need for VPN. Post-@ supports all current Windows platforms, from Win98 to XP.
Prepared for mobile
The availibility on a mobile PC or PDA (via GPRS or UMTS, GPRS) can be displayed just as easily. With GPS information available, even the actual location may be displayed on a map (extra option). The system is prepared for dynamic graphic display on geographical maps.
